Solar Energy

Solar energy is collected from the sunlight. It may make use of heat or actual light. There are many different ways in which it can be applied.

For example, solar energy can be converted into electricity. There are many different methods of doing so, including:
•photovoltaic solar cells
•satellites
•concentrated solar power
•solar updraft towers

Other applications of solar energy provide heating. Here are a few examples of this:
•solar ovens
•solar chimneys
•passive building design
•solar thermal panel
