Home Energy

Home energy is a significant concern for many people. The monthly costs of powering a home will add up over the years. In addition to this, new studies related to climate change have shown that our current reliance upon fossil fuels for city power have not been without negative consequence.

Luckily, there are many ways to improve home energy efficiency. A lot of these have to do with insulation. Examine insulation levels in walls, ceilings, floors, and crawl spaces. Particular rooms of concern include the attic, exterior, and basement.

Improve home energy also by checking for cracks and holes which leak air either into or out of the home. Again, ceilings and walls are of interest. Other areas to check include windows, doors, and electrical outlets and switches. Lighting and plumbing fixtures should also be examined.
